Malachite on barite from Morocco is a highly sought-after mineral specimen known for its striking contrast of vibrant green malachite formations resting on dark, blade-like barite crystal clusters. This specimen features floret barite formations that were coated in hematite giving them the striking dark color. Then malachite decided to form along the tips of the blades and the pieces features a full drusy coating of malachite on the back. Simply stunning!
