Erythrite and Annabergite Mineral Specimen ERY6
Erythrite is also known as Cobalt Bloom and this is an amazing specimen to add to your collection.
This mineral specimen from Morocco contains lustrous, prismatic deep purple erythrite crystals of various sizes, clustered atop a dark brown matrix. This specimen also features pockets of Annabergite which commonly forms with Erythrite. Because nickel and cobalt frequently substitute for one another in ore deposits, erythrite and annabergite form a solid-solution series where the mineral's color acts as a natural gradient between the two elements. When both are present, they create striking, high-contrast mineral specimens.
