This Pony Creek thunder egg comes from the famous Ochs Rand Bed which has been off limits and private since the 90's. We were recently allowed to dig and brought back numerous egg's to cut and polish. This half egg features amazing waterline formations, agate with banding and a opal coated inner pocket. This egg has amazing fluorescence as well. This is a free standing specimen and polished to a high shine by the lapidarist Danielle "RKCHNDPirateQueen"

Pony Creek thundereggs (often dug at the Ochs Ranch near Ashwood and Madras, Oregon) are highly prized for their unique geological features, including dark wispy moss, distinct plume, phantom tubes, and clear agate cores
