Medfordite is a high-quality, locally renowned variety of moss agate found in Jackson County, Oregon, particularly near Medford. It is characterized by its white to green and blueish chalcedony, often featuring distinct, dark, or intense green dendritic (moss-like) inclusions, and sometimes containing pockets of quartz crystals or amethyst.
